The art of the 20th century reflects a complicated and fascinating relationship with mathematics. Florence Fasanelli unpacks these influences in a gallery talk inspired by the work of Andrea Way. Dr. Fasanelli is the director of the D.C. Fellows for the Advancement of Mathematics Education (DC FAME) at the American Association for the Advancement of Science. She received her doctorate in mathematics from American University and has written and presented widely on the intersection of math and art.
