How to: Check Your Library Account

MyLibraryAccount allows you online access to your personal library account. Through MyLibraryAccount you can:

  • Update your email address
  • See a list of books on your account
  • Renew your books
  • Check the status of your Consortium Loan Service requests
  • Access your Consortium Loan Service articles
  • View your Interlibrary Loan books
  • Access your Interlibrary Loan articles

Logging into MyLibraryAccount

Click here, type in your last name and your 7-digit AU I.D. number or 14-digit barcode number (without letters), and select your school.

Updating Your Email Address

Having your correct email address in the system will allow you to receive important information such as approaching due dates, overdue notices and consortium loan request updates.

  • Log into MyLibraryAccount.
  • Click on "User Profile"
  • Click on “Edit Email"
  • Enter your current email address and click on "Update Email"

Viewing your library books

  • Log into MyLibraryAccount.
  • Click "View All"
  • Georgetown and George Mason items are listed separately.
  • To access your Georgetown University library activity including all checked out items, hold items, and fines, please log in to GEORGE with your 14 digit barcode number (without letters) and last name.

To view the status of your consortium loan service items:

You will see the books you have requested from the consortium loan service (CLS) within the last 14 days and the current status of each request.

To access your consortium loan service and interlibrary loan articles:

All of your available articles should be listed and will open into a PDF file once selected. Articles are available for 14 days.

To view your interlibrary loan (ILL) items (those from outside the consortium):

  • Log into MyLibraryAccount.
  • Under "Interlibrary Loan Activity" click on "ILLiad Log in"
  • Under "Review Requests" click on "View/Renew Items"
