The 300-seat theatre, made possible by a gift from Harold and Sylvia Greenberg, opened in spring 2003. The complex includes a stage, orchestra pit, dressing rooms, audio-video, lighting, and film-screening equipment, scene and costume design shops, and great sight lines from every seat. The theatre received one of four excellence awards for interior architecture in 2003 from the D.C. chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The theatre, located at 4200 Wisconsin Avenue, is accessible by using the AU shuttles or a short three-block walk from the Tenley Metro Station. Garage parking is available beneath the theatre through the entrance on Van Ness Street.
