WASHINGTON, D.C.—American University students, alumni, and fans will watch the Eagles take on the Villanova Wildcats in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at a viewing party starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, in the Tavern at AU’s Mary Graydon Center.  The game will be broadcast live on CBS. Tip-off for the game is scheduled for 7:20 p.m.

This is the second consecutive year that the Eagles have advanced to the NCAA Tournament and only their second appearance in the 83-year history of the AU basketball program. The team earned its spot in the tournament by winning the Patriot League Championship, defeating Holy Cross, 73-57, last Friday.
