Washington, DC (February 5, 2014)—American University’s Kennedy Political Union is hosting the 2014 DC Democratic Primary Mayoral Debate at American University. The debate will be the first centered on young voters and their concerns. The audience will include AU students, AU community members, and citizens living in the surrounding Ward 3 community.
Debate moderator NBC4’s Tom Sherwood will take questions from the audience for the candidates to address during the 90 minute debate. WTTG’s Matt Ackland and WJLA’s Sam Ford will make up the media panel.
All participants in the debate are candidates for Mayor of the District of Columbia in the Democratic Primary on April 1.
