Professor Laura DeNardis of American University is available to discuss the EU's "Right to be Forgotten" ruling, a data protection ruling that has important implications for the protection of people's privacy as well as significant implications on the future of net neutrality. Under this ruling, private companies determine what Internet content to “delete if inadequate or irrelevant from its search results when requested to do so”. Professor DeNardis can speak from various viewpoints about this legislation and address specific concerns such as privacy protection, freedom of speech, censorship and the privatization of rights.
