ALUMNI NEWS
President Ladner to Take A new AU Campaign Message on the Road

Exciting changes are under way on campus and alumni who live in Baltimore and Washington, D.C., will be among the first to hear about them.

American University President Benjamin Ladner has invited select alumni to attend two special events in the coming weeks:

“Every year, we get requests from alumni about when they’ll get a chance to talk to Dr. Ladner,” says Vanessa Peet, associate director of Alumni Programs. “This is the perfect opportunity for alumni who want to know what’s new at AU to learn about it from the president himself. It’s also a great opportunity to network with fellow alumni.”

Dr. Ladner will focus his remarks on A new AU, the campaign to raise $200 million, and how the campaign benefits virtually nearly every aspect of campus in one way or another.

Both events cost $15 and will include hors d’oeuvres and refreshments (including beer and wine). For more information or to register, click on the city/date listed above.

President Ladner will also visit Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and San Francisco over the next year. If you live in one of these cities, stay tuned for more details.
