| Homecoming & Reunion Plans Announced, Mo Rocca to Perform
Take in a student production of the Gershwin musical “Of Thee I Sing,” enjoy afternoon tea with the Golden Eagles, or tour the National Air and Space Museum’s new Udvar-Hazy Center. Cheer on AU's women’s soccer team, take a hard hat tour of the new Katzen Arts Center, or enjoy a book talk featuring three alumni authors. Join in the 5k run around campus, catch up with professors over a panel discussion of the 2004 presidential election, or watch the Homecoming parade during the family barbeque on Saturday afternoon. Whatever you do, plan on attending the highlight of the weekend - the All-Alumni Gala featuring comedian Mo Rocca at the Grand Hyatt Washington on Saturday night, Oct. 16. Rocca, a veteran correspondent for Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, correspondent for NBC’s Today show, and host of Bravo’s Things I Hate About You, is known for his tongue-in-cheek news reports and hilarious commentary. The evening, hosted by AU’s own WUSA Tonight anchor, Derek McGinty, SOC/BA ’81, will also include dinner, an open bar, and dancing to the live music of Mixed Company. Graduates from the classes of 2004 to 1994 are $40, and all other alumni and guests are $75. Registration
