January 2004 Happy
New Year! By now, you've probably thought up a few great resolutions
for ways to live your life better in 2004. Are you working
on making them happen? Sometimes the toughest part about setting
goals for ourselves is creating and implementing a plan.
Right
now, members of the AU community are setting goals for their
upcoming months ahead: the students are getting into the new
semester; the basketball team is playing hard and working
toward making it to the Patriot League championship; the theatre
majors are rehearsing for their upcoming spring shows; and
the seniors are polishing their resumes and beginning to consider
life away from AU.
As
you set your goals for the year ahead, I hope you’ll
include giving back to AU in your plans. Hopefully, your connection
to AU has allowed you to reach some of your goals. We sure
would love it if you would help the current students reach
theirs.
All
the best-

In Chinese Astrology, this week marks the start of the Year
of the Monkey. Monkeys are considered optimistic, social,
and inventive. Here’s hoping we can all tap into our
inner monkey!
