Patriot League Basketball Season Under Way

The AU hoopsters have been playing since November, but the Patriot League season just got under way in January.

So far, the men's team has won two of its three Patriot League games, beating Bucknell 58-55, Navy 80-58, and losing to Lehigh in overtime 58-63 last Saturday in Bender Arena.

The lady Eagles have experienced similar results in their Patriot League season, with two wins and a loss, beating Bucknell 50-49 and Navy 51-42, also defeated by Lehigh last weekend 55-69.

Whether you live in the D.C. area and can get to campus to catch a game at Bender Arena, or you live near a competitor school, show your Eagle pride by cheering on your alma mater at an upcoming game:

• Colgate (at Colgate) - Friday January 23 - women at 5:30; men’s game at 7:30 p.m.
• Holy Cross (at Holy Cross) – Sunday, January 25 – women at noon; men’s game at 3:15 p.m.
• Lafayette (home in Bender Arena) – Friday, January 30 – women at 5:30; men’s game at 7:30 p.m.
• Army (home in Bender Arena) – Sunday February 1 – men’s game at 1:00 p.m., women at 3:00 p.m.
