MESSAGE FROM YOUR ALUMNI BOARD PRESIDENT |
|
| It’s easy to forget that change is a good thing. One of the hardest things the Alumni Board faces is seeing its seasoned chapter leaders leave their posts when their two-year terms are up. However, this rotation is vital to the growth of the chapters. Without new chapter leadership (and volunteers being groomed to take on this role) the groups would lose the “new blood” that it takes to make them so successful. The Alumni Board is looking to all of you for your fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Many of the chapters will see their leaders rotate this August, and all of them are looking for new volunteers to help plan events. These events and programs are a great way to network, serve your community and school, and meet new people. If you are interested in becoming a regional volunteer, please contact Mary Skinner at 202-885-5925.
