Professor Addresses America's Oil Addiction

Pondering how overpopulation and overconsumption of resources are going to affect the future of the planet?

Join members of the AU Community on Tuesday, April 20, as Stanford University Professor Paul Ehrlich, author of The Population Bomb, visits AU to discuss his new book, One with Nineveh, which addresses America’s addiction to oil and the "maldistribution of power that prevents society from earning the trust of its scientific community." The discussion will be held on AU's campus in the Ward building, Room 1, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

To RSVP, please contact Christal Cherry at 202-885-2435.

Professor Ehrlich is the Bing Professor of Population Studies at the Stanford Department of Biological Sciences and President of the Center for Conservation Biology. He has written more than 35 books and 800 scientific papers and articles in the popular press. In addition to degrees from the University of Kansas and the University of Pennsylvania, he has also earned two honorary doctorates.
