Dedicated AU Faculty and Staff Inducted into 20-Year Club

It may seem crazy in today’s job market, but once upon a time, people used to go to work for a company and stay for nearly a lifetime. Here at AU, we are very fortunate to count more than 130 loyal AU faculty and staff members who have contributed their time, energy, and talent for more than 20 years. Last week, 18 new members were inducted into AU's Twenty-Year Club and thanked as they joined the ranks of this special group. AU’s Twenty-Year Club celebration included dinner at the Loews L'Enfant Plaza, followed by a performance of “Señor Discretion Himself” at Arena Stage.

New inductees into the 20-Year Club include:

  • Wendy Beckerman, associate director, University Publications
  • Kevin Grasty, director, University Publications
  • Marjorie Neumann, associate director, editorial, University Publications
  • Esfandiar Behbahani Dovom, senior accountant, Controller’s office
  • Nazareth T. Reyes, e-operations
  • Mark Welch, bursar, Student Accounts
  • Frank E. Wilson, director of accounting, Controller’s office
  • Anne G. Kaiser, academic counselor, CAS Dean's Office

Also honored for reaching a special milestone were:

35 Years - Don Myers, VP of Finance and treasurer

30 Years - Linda Bolden-Pitcher, university registrar; Myle Luong, e-operations developer; and Violetta Ettle, assistant provost.

25 Years – Ronald Carlton, e-operations; Ralph Castiglione, contracts analyst, Controller’s office;
Rosalia Chavez, senior staff accountant, Controller’s office; Antoinette Glover, assistant to the director, WCL Library; Harriet Monser, CAS Dean’s Office; and Berta Najera, business and HR manager, WAMU 88.5 FM.

Congratulations to these inspirational and dedicated AU faculty and staff who have touched the lives of many students, alumni, and coworkers in the course of their service here.
