| AU to Host Job and Internship Fair – For Alumni Seeking and Offering Jobs
Nearly 100 employers are expected to be on hand for discussion about the positions their firms seek to fill on Thursday, October 7, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., in Bender Arena. “Last year, we had 170 employers recruiting at our fall and spring fairs, and almost 1,000 students and alumni attendees each fair,” says Pat Oltmann, AU alumni career programs coordinator. “This year, we hope to have even more.” If

the fair. You can then research employers recruiting at the fair and find
out what job opportunities are waiting for you. If you don’t have

(Whether you are a student or an alum, you must have a résumé
in your AU CareerWeb account to register for the fair.) More than 2,000 students and 200 alumni were seen in individual appointments with Career Center advisors last year, covering resume review, job search strategies, career changes, and more. Plus, at least 500 alumni took part in panels and networking receptions to benefit students, and close to 50 alumni recruited at job fairs throughout the year. |
