Marks Second Annual "Afternoon of the Arts" “The brunch and art tour was such a successful event last year, we really wanted to try to make it an annual event,” said Rina Pennachia, KSB/BSBA ’78, Baltimore chapter leader. While there were plenty of new faces at this year’s event, some had also attended last year's event, when the Walters featured an Egyptian exhibition. “It was such a nice day because it was a different experience from last year even though it was the same museum,” said Maureen Eschbacher, CAS/BA ’67. Eschbacher also commented on how she feels the Baltimore chapter is gaining recognition in the community. “I left the event with a sense that the chapter is growing stronger in the number of people interested in events and also in the types of experiences it’s offering to alumni.” In the next few months, the Baltimore chapter will be offering at “Day at the Races” for families (Saturday, June 6 at Pimlico), and an afternoon at Camden Yards as the O’s take on the Boston Red Sox (Sunday, September 25.)
