| Register Today for Alumni Weekend 2005, October 21-23
We expect more than 1,000 alumni and friends this year for Alumni Weekend 2005, Friday, October 21 through Sunday, October 23. Mark your calendar! Come back to campus to reunite, remember, and create new memories! Here are some of the event highlights:
Cocktails and Conversation
Katzen Arts Center
Saturday, October 22
7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Enter the newly unveiled Katzen Arts Center, relax and unwind with fellow alumni, and enjoy D.C.'s own Capitol Steps comedy troupe, jazz vocalist Libby York, SPA/BA '66, and presentation of AU's annual Alumni Achievement Award to Lonnie Bunch, CAS/BA '74, CAS/MA '76 .
Hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine will be served.
Business attire. Tickets are $25 for alumni from the Classes of 1995-2005 and $40 for all others; they must be purchased in advance.
Admission to the Capitol Steps performance is limited to the first 400 individuals who RSVP.
 AU Family Picnic
Woods-Brown Amphitheater
Saturday, October 22
Noon to 2 p.m.
Bring your family and join your friends for a gourmet picnic lunch and live
music in the amphitheater. Tickets can be purchased and picked up at the Hospitality Center,
Mary Graydon Center room 1, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 22. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 4-12, and free for children under 4.
Golden Eagle Luncheon
Katzen Arts Center
Friday, October 21
11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Golden Eagle alumni (those from the Class of 1955 and prior) and their guests are invited to participate in this annual tradition honoring the newly inducted 50th reunion class and guests from previous milestone years. This year, the luncheon includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the new Katzen Arts Center.
