February
2006
Do
you know a fellow alum or colleague who is a worthy candidate for
AU's Board of Trustees?
The
Board of Trustees (BoT) recently announced an open nomination process
which means that nominations for trusteeship can come from any source.
I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and nominate
a qualified candidate to the Board of Trustees.
To
view a list of desirable
characteristics and additional information on interim
procedures for making and processing BoT membership nominations,
please visit www.american.edu/governance.
Also,
in this month's newsletter, learn more about the new chair of the
Board of Trustees, Gary Abramson, and find out if Dr. Kerwin is
going to be in your area as he travels around the country to meet
with alumni.
Best
Regards,
Carey Earle,
