Summer
2006
From
Long Island and Philadelphia to San Diego and Puerto Rico, alumni
and their families are sending off AU's newest class as they leave
their hometowns and cities around the world headed for Washington,
D.C. This year, we have nearly 20 Summer Send Offs planned with
200 incoming students attending.
We
want to thank all of our alumni for representing us so well with
your generosity and graciousness. For so many of us, the Summer
Send Off is one of our first AU memories. It gives students a chance
to meet a familiar face or two before they're on campus, and gives
parents a chance to meet some of their peers.
Again,
our thanks and gratitude to all of our hosts. If anyone is interested
in hosting a Summer Send Off in the future, please contact Kristin
Schlicker in Admissions at 202-885-6051.
Here's
to sunshine where there's too much rain, and rain where there's
too much sun!
Enjoy
the rest of the summer.
Best,
Carey Earle,
