Minneapolis Chapter Gets Revitalized
The Minneapolis Alumni Chapter come out of hibernation for the first time since 2001 on Wednesday, March 22. Alumni and friends joined together at Nochee, a lounge in downtown Minneapolis, to catch up and make plans for future alumni outings. "Everyone was so excited to find out there were so many other alums in their area. There is a lot of motivation to get the chapter active again," says Jasmine Stringer, KSB/BSBA '01, the impetus behind the recent event. Stringer, who recently moved to the Minneapolis area, has extensive experience in organizing alumni activities and events. For the past three years, she has served the Atlanta alumni community as its chapter leader and will continue to do so until a new leader is in place. One of the first steps she envisions for the Minneapolis chapter is an organziational meeting to gauge the interest of local alumni. Patrick Burns, SPA/BA '93, SPA/MA '96, has agreed to host the event. Stay tuned for more details!
