October 2007
Alumni Weekend 2007 will be upon us in just a few short weeks, October 26 to 28.
Go online now to www.alumni.american.edu/alumniweekend to register for this weekend of friends, fun, and networking. If you can’t come to campus for all of it, just “dip your toe in the water” by showing up for an event or two. There will be tons going on, and there really is no better time than now to reconnect with AU.
As you walk around campus during Alumni Weekend, make a commitment – or a recommitment – to get more involved. The Alumni Board is working on ideas to expand the board and increase alumni participation. As these ideas get more traction, I’ll keep you posted. But in the meantime, if you’re interested in learning more, e-mail me at bkeane@alum.american.edu.
Also, while you’re online, take a moment to join the AU online community at https://incircle.alumni.american.edu/. It’s a great way to socialize, stay connected to AU throughout the year, and become more deeply ingrained in the AU community.
I hope to see you on campus at Alumni Weekend in a couple weeks!
Sincerely,
Brian F. Keane, SPA/BA '89
