IT Help Desk
The Office of Information Technology's Help Desk troubleshoots IT-related issues via telephone, email, instant messaging, and direct interaction with customers at OIT's walk-in Technology Support Desk on the lower level of the Bender Library. Support is available to all prospective and current students, faculty, and staff. Limited support is offered to alumni, parents, and campus visitors with regard to AU services.
The IT Help Desk can assist you with computer configuration issues, discuss software problems, assist you with network access difficulties, repair hardware malfunctions for university-owned equipment, or give you advice for any technical issue you may encounter.
Please note: the IT Help Desk can not perform hardware repairs for students' personally-owned computers; however, they can help you make the determination that it is in fact a hardware problem that the manufacturer should address.

The professionals that staff the Help Desk are available to serve you from 8 AM through 8 PM on weekdays during the Fall and Spring semesters; however, there is someone available to address emergency IT issues every day around the clock, 365 days a year.
The best time to call the Help Desk is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday through Friday, as the most staff are available at that time.
Does the Help Desk have a location on campus where I can get help?
Yes, there are several members of the Help Desk team that staff the Technology Support Desk on the lower level of Bender Library. The service is open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Monday through Friday throughout the year. Service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
