Chante Harris is a student leader with the Center for Community Engagement and Service. Serving as a Freshman Service Experience coordinator, Chante facilitated service opportunities for 125 leaders and 700 freshmen with 50 community organizations. Through her work, American University has contributed over 8,000 hours of community service in fall of 2014.

Joelle Appenrodt currently serves as the Student Co-Director of the SPA Leadership Program and President of Alpha Chi Omega. Joelle has conducted prize-winning research regarding sexual assault on AU’s campus.

Jon McCrearyis the current National President of College Youth and Government, and the Director General for Model United Nations where he has raised the bar and led the AU team to its first top-50 world ranking.

Judy Jueserves as the chief financial officer for the Graduate Leadership Council (GLC). She has been a stalwart manager of sound financial practices and financial transparency within the organization. Through her attention to detail, the GLC has developed more accurate models for the distribution of the graduate student fee and has engaged the leadership of all grad councils in substantive work around priorities and outcomes for the benefit of graduate students at AU.
Tam Sackmanserved as the director of the Student Union Board. Under Tam’s leadership SUB hosted a diverse mix of well-attended and dynamic programs. Tam leads by example and has set the groundwork for a successful spring semester while she studies in Prague.
