Accessible Articles Using Adobe Acrobat

  • If you are scanning articles using Adobe Professional to PDF to be posted on your Blackboard site, you will need to complete a few simple steps to ensure accessibility
  • After scanning the document(s) or opening up a scanned document, do the following: Document > Recognize Text using OCR > Start, then choose All Pages or Current Page or Page Ranges
  • After OCR process is completed, then select File > Save
