TALONS

Thinking and Learning Opportunities for New Student-Athletes

TALONS is required seminar for all incoming student-athletes in their first semester. The weekly TALONS workshops help incoming student-athletes understand and cope with academic, social, athletic, and personal pressures related to the transition to AU. TALONS provides new student-athletes with practical strategies and information to adjust to college, academics, and athletics.

Topics covered over the course of the semester include:
