Safe Space 2.0 - Combating Homophobia & Heterosexism on Campus (Updated 2/8)
noon – 1:30 pm, Thursday, February 21, Mary Graydon Center 245
This Safe Space 2.0 will look at how homophobia and heterosexism (along with transphobia and biphobia) present themselves on campus. Participants will also learn how to mitigate these things from happening on campus and how to interrupt them when they see them.
The Safe Space 2.0 series goes more in depth about specific LGBTQ topics and issues. They are usually between 1 and 1.5 hours and vary between panels, workshops, and outside presentations. These sessions are open to anyone regardless of your participation in previous Safe Space workshops. All are welcome!
