CLINICAL TRAINEE STAFF
American University Counseling Center is an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited clinical training site for pre-doctoral interns. Every academic year we welcome four clinical interns from outstanding doctoral programs in Clinical Psychology and Counseling Psychology to our staff.
2012-2013 Clinical Interns:

Philicia Rubin - California School of Professional Psychology, San Francisco
David Songco - Chicago School of Professional Psychology
Each academic year our staff is also joined by six clinical externs who are advanced graduate students in clinical psychology or clinical social work from graduate programs in the DC area and Mid-Atlantic region.

Our staff is also comprised of Practicum trainees who are first- and second-year graduate students in the clinical psychology program at American University. All of our staff trainees participate in coursework, individual and group supervision, outreach and consultation activities, and the delivery of psychological services to American University students.
