REQUESTING
A PRESENTATION
FOR YOUR CLASS OR GROUP
Workshops/presentations are available to any campus class, club, or other group at the request of a student, faculty, or staff member. The purpose of each workshop/presentation is to provide participants with (a) information, (b) an opportunity for exploration and discussion, and (c) helpful tips, resources, or courses of action.
Workshops are available on virtually any topic in mental health or student life. Recent workshops have included, for example:

FACULTY ! Do you need a guest lecturer for your class?
Counseling Center staff are available to supplement your course curriculum by providing a guest lecture, presentation, or workshop to your class. Many topics are available, including: resilience in life and work; managing stress; young adult development; performance or test anxiety; relationship issues; interpersonal conflict resolution; culture shock; relaxation training; listening skills; overcoming fears; dreams; and other topics in college health/mental health such as alcohol/drug use, eating disorders, and depression/suicidality.
