Greek Week 2008

Expectations
of Individuals, Chapters and Teams

The purpose of Greek Week is to celebrate our values, traditions, and to build unity in the Greek Community. Therefore, the following expectations will be set forth for participation in Greek Week activities and functions.

  1. All members are required by law to abide by the policies set forth in IFC, NPHC, and PHA By-Laws and the Greek Alcohol Policy.
  2. The judges for the various events and/or the Greek Week Committee and the Greek Advisor reserve the right to disqualify any chapter that has (a) violated any of the expectations listed, and/or (b) put the safety or image of the AU Greek Community and its members at risk.
  3. All decisions made by the judges in all events are final.
  4. Regarding sign-ins and GAP points: any falsification or dishonesty will result in the chapter losing ALL participation points for that event.
  5. GAP points will be awarded using the usual scale:

GAP Points
90-100% chapter attendance = 20 points
70-89% chapter attendance = 16 points
50-69% chapter attendance = 12 points
30-49% chapter attendance = 8 points
10-29% chapter attendance = 4 points
Below 10% chapter attendance = 1 point

  1. Members will participate in the programs and opportunities offered. The Greek Week Committee has worked hard to plan a fun and exciting week for everyone!
  2. Members will be respectful and supportive of all chapters, members, and groups participating in Greek Week.
  3. Any problems, concerns, or comments will be directed to the Greek Week Chairs or Greek Advisor.
  4. Anyone violating policies and procedures of Greek Week or IFC/NPHC/PHA are subject to a review by the respective Judicial Board.

Be safe and have fun!
