GOT WORKSTUDY? We Want You!!
That's right! The Center is now accepting applications for Fall 2008 student
workers. We can only hire students with Federal Work Study (contact your Financial
Aid Advisor to find out if you qualify) but we love volunteers to! If you
are interested in a position, please contact Sara at sara.bendoraitis@american.edu
or fill out our application
and return it to the center as soon as possible.
New
Library Exhibit!
GLBT Life @ AU: A new AU Library exhibit
June is Gay Pride Month! In celebration, the Library Exhibits Team, in association
with the AU Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Ally Resource Center, AU
Queers and Allies, and the Kennedy Political Union, have completed a new exhibit
entitled: GLBT Life @ AU. The display highlights important events in the history
of AU’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender activism and documents
the continuing struggle to overcome prejudice and achieve equality on campus
and in American society. The exhibit will be up all summer.
