Dining Services
Food service at American University is provided by Bon Appetit, a company committed to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction through excellent food and service. Bon Appetit is a restaurant company offering full food service management by providing café and catering service to corporations, universities, and specialty venues. Bon Appetit provides a variety of dining and food options on campus. This includes the main dining facility, the Terrace Dining Room (known as TDR), the Marketplace (featuring Einstein's Bagels), the Tavern (featuring American Pie and Chick-Fil-A ), the Eagles Nest (featuring Subway), and the University Club.
American University offers the following kosher food options:

| -- | Kosher TV dinners - available in the Terrace Dining Room (TDR); to have a kosher meal prepared, ask the cashier when entering the dining hall; cost: one meal swipe | |
| -- | AU Hillel kosher dinners - every Friday night in the Kay Spiritual Life Center; an additional kosher meal is available every week for the semester or year (e-mail hillel@american.edu to register for weekly kosher Shabbat meals and an additional meal each week for the year) |

Can't be there to help celebrate someone's birthday? Maybe you just want to wish your son/daughter luck on an exam? Bon Appetit has partnered with Housing and Dining Programs to provide special treats for your student while thay are away from home. All orders must be placed at least one week prior to delivery date. Orders may be placed via telephone (202-885-3342 or 202-885-3370) or fax (202-885-1188). Click here to review the order form!
Additionally, in partnership with 1800flowers.com, Housing and Dining Programs is pleased to provide a gift delivery service to students in our residence halls or to anyone on the AU campus. All AU community members (students, family members, faculty, staff, etc.) will receive a 10% discount by using this link.
