Late Departure Request - Spring 2016

Residence halls close at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Any student wishing to remain in housing past this date must complete the below application. All applications are due by Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 5 p.m. EST. Once reviewed, you will receive an email indicating the status of your request.

Approved reasons for late departure include (Complete an Application):

  • Graduating students
  • Confirmed and official participation in graduation ceremony

Students pre-approved for late departure include (Do NOT Complete an Application):

  • Confirmed reservation in AU Summer Housing (Must have a May 8 check-in date)
  • Current or Summer Student Employee of Housing & Dining Programs

Typical reasons for denied requests for late departure:

  • Missed deadline for request
  • Employment dates (Job or Internship)
  • Lease/Apartment not available
  • Travel
