Nebraska Hall

 

 

Housing and Dining Programs is happy to announce that after extensive renovations, Nebraska Hall is American University's newest residence hall. Nebraska Hall houses 115 upper-class students in a suite-style apartment setting. Each apartment has between 2 and 4 single bedrooms which share a bathroom, kitchen, and living room. Please see below for additional information about the rooms, cost, furniture, etc.

Layout

Nebraska Hall houses 115 students in suite style apartments. Each apartment has either 2, 3, or 4 single bedrooms clustered around a common area containing a living room and kitchen and each apartment has its own bathroom shared by the residents of the apartment.

Furniture

Each bedroom comes with a full-size bed w/ headboard, under bed storage system, nightstand, desk and shelf unit and desk chair. The living room is furnished with a couch, 2 chairs, a coffee and end table and an entertainment center.

 

Kitchen

Each kitchen comes with a stove, oven, microwave and full-size refrigerator. The kitchens do not have a dishwasher. The kitchens also come with a built-in breakfast bar outfitted with stools.

 

Cost

The cost of living in Nebraska Hall is the same cost as living in a regular single room. The cost for living in a single room for the 2007/2008 academic year is $4,886 per semester.  Just like living in any other residence hall, all utilities are included in this cost with the exception of laundry.
