What is NRHH?

The National Residence Hall Honorary is an organization that is made up of the top 1% of student leaders in the residence halls. Members of the NRHH are selected and inducted through a competitive process that recognizes some of the individuals who have provided leadership within our residence halls and positively contributed to the growth of our community.

The American Eagles Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary was “reestablished” at American University in 2008. An earlier chapter existed in the late 1990s. We “reestablished” our chapter with the hope of further promoting community and leadership in our residence halls.

Our work is founded on the four main pillars of NRHH chapters across the world: Leadership, Scholarship, Service and Recognition.
