Executive Board Responsibilities

President ($4,000 stipend)

  Act as chief executive officer of the Residence Hall Association
  Act as presiding officer of the General Council
  Provide an agenda for each General Council and Executive Board meeting
  Act as the chief spokesperson for the Residence Hall Association
  Establish committees to assist in the implementation of policy and programming
  Nominate any additional Executive Board members for appointment
  Hold ten (10) office hours per week
  Meet with the Executive Director of Housing and Dining Programs twice a month
  Attend breakfast club meetings hosted by the Vice President of Campus Life
  Attend the Board of Trustees Campus Life Committee
  Attend Student Government Cabinet meetings
  Appoint members of the RHA to serve on all other university committees

 

Vice-President of Programming ($3,250 stipend)

  Act as chief officer of all program related events, committees, and projects
  Plan and implement major inter-hall programming events
  Coordinate programming efforts of Hall Councils and offer regular assistance
  Plan programming which is inclusive of all residents
  Work to build community through engaging programs
  Hold ten (10) office hours per week
  Hold Programming Committee meetings at least twice per month
  Meet regularly with the Vice-President of Finance to budget for programs
  Attend Student Government Programming Meetings

 

Vice-President of Community ($3,250 stipend)

  Act as chief officer of all Residence Hall Association personnel
  Ensure that all Hall Councils are in good working order
  Attend at least one (1) Hall Council meeting of every hall each month
  Keep up-to-date contact information on all Residence Hall Association members
  Assist all committees engaging in advocacy
  Recognize exceptional members, floors, halls, and any other personnel
  Hold ten (10) office hours per week

 

Vice-President of Finance ($3,250 stipend)

  Act as chief executive officer of all finance-related committees and events
  Prepare a semester budget for approval by General Council
  Process all Residence Hall Association financial transactions
  Maintain all RHA financial documents and ensure they are in good working order
  Manage the co-sponsorship fund and chair the co-sponsorship committee
  Meet regularly with University Financial personnel
  Manage the ongoing business of all RHA offices
  Hold ten (10) office hours each week
