Personal Property Insurance

Check with your parents to see if any or all of your possessions are covered by their homeowner's insurance plan. Many plans cover student possessions while at school. While we certainly hope that it doesn't happen to you, possessions sometimes are stolen, lost or destroyed. The university is not responsible for loss of personal property.
Housing & Dining Programs recommends residents using CSI Insurance services if they do not currently have property insurance. CSI Insurance is a steady, dependable, and affordable service that protects students against some of the uncertainties of the college experience. CSI offers protection against a broad range of potential damage to personal property including fire, flood, vandalism, theft, and accidental damage.
