Washington, DC transforms into an intern hub beginning in May of each year. Students from across the country flock to the District eager to work with senators, top business professionals, and well-known non-profit organizations. American University hosts between 200 and 300 of these interns each summer. The university is located on Massachusetts Avenue, just blocks from Embassy Row and less than a mile from the Tenleytown-AU metro stop.
