Overview & Important Dates

Housing & Dining Programs invites you to participate in 2017-2018 Returning Room Selection. This process is for students interested in living on campus for the 2017-2018 academic year. Room selection is a three-step process. Students must complete all three steps by their respective deadlines to secure housing for the 2017-2018 academic year.

East Campus Tour Signups: Rising sophomores have the opportunity to tour Federal and Congressional Halls on Tuesday, February 21 and Thursday, February 23. You must sign up by 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 23.

Important Dates and Timeline

Step 1: Apply. Due Friday, January 27 at 5 p.m. EST. Monday, January 30 at 10 a.m. EST.

Step 2: Group. Due Friday, February 24 at 5 p.m. EST.

Step 3: Select. Open March 1-3 and March 6-9.

Information Sessions

Housing & Dining Programs will be hosting information sessions to provide opportunities for students to learn more about the process and ask questions in person.

Selection Process Overview

Step 1: Apply

Opens Friday, January 13, 2017 on your AU Housing Portal.

Application deadline is Friday, January 27 at 5 p.m. EST. Monday, January 30 at 10 a.m. EST. No exceptions.

Note: All students must complete an application in order to move forward in the room selection process.

Step 2: Group

Opens Monday, February 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. on your AU Housing Portal. This step requires the completion of your housing application.

Grouping due Friday, February 24, 2017 at 5 p.m. EST. No exceptions.

Step 3: Select

Tuesday, February 28: Room selection timeslots emailed

March 1-3 and March 7-9: Groups or individuals select during selection dates that will be communicated and are randomly assigned within classification and group size

Monday, March 6: Living Learning Communities select
