International Graduate Student Orientation
Fall 2012 Semester, Saturday, August 18 - Monday, 20, 2012
Welcome to Orientation!
All international graduate students are expected to attend International Student Orientation (ISO) on August 18-20, 2012. This orientation covers important immigration, employment, and cross cultural sessions, as well as academic information specifically of interest to all international students beginning at American University. There is no charge for participating in this program, but registration is required. Please bring the following immigration documents with you:
- passport
- visa
- I-20 or DS-2019
- I-94 card (small white card in passport)

9:30 am - 12:30 pm (with optional tours and outings in DC after 2:00 pm)
*If you are observing Ramadan, we are happy to provide a meal for you at the end of Sunday. Please email us at intlorientation@american.edu with your NAME, AU ID, and your GRADUATE PROGRAM so we can plan for these accommodations.
