Tell us about an unexpected discovery that you made when you came to AU.

There are many global nomad students! It's amazing that you can learn a lot of things from them in class and outside of classes. AU has the best way to gain cross-cultural communication skills. Meet new friends from all over the world!

What's your favorite part about living in DC?

There are many opportunities to attend conferences that you'd be interested in, numerous "clubs" that you can learn new languages and cultures in. I'm attending Brazilian Portuguese Meeting in D.C., and I've improved my Portuguese skills a lot. It's a great opportunity to learn and discover new things!
