Why has AU been a good match for you?

AU has been the perfect match for me for so many reasons. Aside from the fact that AU has a fantastic program for international studies, there is also a vibrant political atmosphere and clubs for everyone. There are a lot of fun things to do in DC and many activities for all students to participate in, in the city.

What's your favorite part about living in DC?

My favorite part about living in DC is the myriad of options I have – if I want to attend a lecture or a panel discussion outside of the classroom. There's always a documentary showing or a guest speaker at AU and so many institutions I can attend off campus on almost any international or domestic issue ranging from environmental sustainability to any current conflict in the world.
