Our students come from approximately 135 nations. We are pleased that your son or daughter has chosen to study at AU and become part of our diverse university community. We also value the role that you play in supporting your son or daughter while studying at AU, and so we wish to acquaint you with life at the university. On the parents’ site, you will useful information and updates on what is happening at AU.

Both International Student & Scholar Services and the Dean of Students are part of the Office of Campus Life, which supports students in their studies and offers them ways to enrich their life at American University. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you or your son or daughter. And please come by and introduce yourself any time you are in Washington, DC.
