Program Information

  »  First Year Fundamentals

First Year Fundamentals is a "make up" program for those students who are unable to attend a summer orientation program. Because of limited time during Welcome Weeks, First Year Fundamentals is an abbreviated orientation and we strongly encourage all students to attend one of the New Student Orientation sessions in June or July if at all possible.

*Please note - if you are participating in FSE you cannot participate in the First Year Fundamentals program because the program dates overlap.

Registration for First Year Fundamentals and the Parent and Family Orientation Program will be available in mid July.

Students, please use your New Student Checklist located on your my.american.edu web portal to register yourself and your guests.
