Bernie Schulz can trace his passion for Higher Education back to his Greek Life experiences as an undergrad.  “The relationships I built with Student Affairs staff when I was chapter president for my fraternity paved the way for my career in Higher Ed.” Sixteen years later, with a MEd in Higher Ed Administration and a MPA in Public Administration Management and Education Policy, Bernie is presently serving as a member of AU’s University Web Steering Committee for Special Features such as the Master Calendar, AUPedia, Success Stories and the Virtual Tour.

When the shepherding  of Campus life’s migration to its new Web site leaves Bernie little time for his other passion, politics on the state- wide and national levels, he merely multi-tasks.  “Through my public service work I am able to connect students through internships, recommendations for jobs, and work in the occasional congressional campaign.  The growth and development of young people is the common thread.”
