Banner Policy
In order to provide information access to members of the
Governing Principles
Event specific, time-sensitive banners are given display priority over general service or support announcements.
All-University events (such as Homecoming, Family Weekend, Commencement) are top priority for hanging
All banners are required to display the AU host organization or department as part of the banner.
Banner content is expected to comply with all applicable university policies.
The
Hanging locations:

1) Over the Tunnel roadway, under the Campus Store.
2) On the fencing which encloses the University Center Garage.

Only all-university events and date-specific university activities may be promoted in this location.
No more than seven consecutive days is allowed for any banner.
All banners in this location must be professionally-produced (no bedsheets, paper, or cardboard) with grommets for hanging.
Requests for banner space must be made through the

Banners will be removed following the event date and held for 48 hours for pickup by the host organization before being discarded.

Campus services and programs are allowed three weeks at a time. No more than seven consecutive days is allowed for any event banner.
