LATINO HERITAGE MONTH
The Center for Community Engagement & Service has traditionally works with AU's Latin American Student Organization (LASO) to co-sponsors a One Day Service Event for Latino Heritage Month (formally known as Hispanic Heritage Month). For over four years both organizations have assisted with the FIESTA DC event in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of the District.

Schedule of Events
Sunday, September 25th
Serve the DC area's Latino Community by helping out during a huge street festival in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood called "Fiesta DC." We will work on two shifts at the children's activities section or the health area/la Feria de Salud. We will travel there in groups and transportation may be provided to the festival.
