WHAT
they can do for you

  • Provides emotional and crisis support
  • Arranges for medical attention or counseling services
  • Serves as advocate and support should a survivor decide to report to local police department or through the Student Conduct process
  • Assists with changing class schedule and living arrangements
  • Helps with safety planning in cases of ongoing violence
  • Provides free, on-campus counseling
  • Is available 24/7 (after hours can be contacted through Public Safety or Housing and Dining staff)
  • Offers daily drop-in hours for urgent care
  • Referrals to medical or mental health resources
  • Provides free sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and emergency contraceptives (Arranged through OASIS)
  • Referrals to medical or mental health resources
  • Referrals to the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program at Washington Hospital Center for evidence collection exams.
  • Provides an open and affirming space
  • Suggests physical and mental health services
  • Provides spiritual guidance
