Using IMAP Clients to Access Your AU E-mail

The Lotus Notes client and the e-mail Web interface are the only ways to access all of the e-mail, calendar, and task features built into your Notes account; but if your mail is on a mail server that allows IMAP connections you can also access your e-mail using other mail clients that support the IMAP protocol.
To get the name your incoming mail server, log into the portal at my.american.edu. Click on the TECHNOLOGY link, and then select the MY CONTEXT AND INCOMING MAIL SERVER link.
