Antigone
February 4-5, 10-12, 8:00 p.m.
**First Friday Event, February 4th following performance
**CAS Alumni Night, February 10

Sophocles' timeless myth resounds with provocative content and probing moral and philosophical issues. Linking the classical to the contemporary, this performance interweaves theatre, music, dance, and sign language.

Directed by Gail Humphries Mardirosian and featuring artist-in-residence Paul Morella as Kreon, this production links the classical to the contemporary, interweaving theatre, music, dance, and sign language.

FIRST FRIDAY: Please join us for a special First Friday panel discussion following the opening night performance on February 4th. Valerie French (American University, history), Frank Hildy (University of Maryland, theatre), and Zoe Kosmidou (Embassy of Greece, Cultural Program) will lead a discussion on theatre as an agent of social change through the lens of Antigone.
