SPECIAL EVENTS EQUIPMENT RENTAL

Complete ALL of the information below. Contact Special Events, specialevents@american.edu, (202) 885-2430 or (202) 885-2159 with any questions. Please note:

  • You must review the Special Events Rental Guide/Policy before submitting your request.
  • General requests must be submitted at least seven business days prior to needed date. 
  • Requests for international flags are subject to availability and must be made at least 10 business days prior to needed date.
  • All Special Events inventory is for indoor on-campus use only.
  • Receipt of your form will be confirmed via e-mail within 48 hours.
  • All requests are subject to approval and availability.

Person requesting services will be financially responsible for any repairs or replacement of equipment that is damaged, destroyed, lost, or stolen.

Note: Use of AU step and repeat and AU gonfalon is only approved for official university events. Subject to Special Events staff approval.

Which country(ies)? Inventory only includes official country flags of the United Nations.

   
   
Note: flag box can only be used in MGC Tavern, Katzen, or SIS if approved by venue. Only one box is able to be reserved at a time. Each box will hold 14 flags.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   

All submissions will receive an email confirming or denying the request within 48 hours. All requests that do not follow the special events rental guide and policy will be denied.
