Early next week, you will receive an e-mail inviting you to participate in an online survey to explore your views regarding the image and identity of American University.

In recent years, AU has engaged in more strategic and professional efforts to communicate our institution’s quality and distinctiveness. This research will help us see how much has changed since those efforts began. Your input is highly valued, and I hope you will participate in this important research project.

SimpsonScarborough, a higher education market research firm, was recently hired by AU to conduct the research. To ensure confidentiality, your responses will be submitted directly to the firm. And, the results of the study will only be presented to AU in the form of group responses, so your answers will never be individually identified.
